1. Treat Hiccups with Black Pepper

2. Hiccups with White Vinegar

Take 1 ounce of white vinegar . It helps provide relief from hiccups. This natural treatment for hiccups is very effective.

3. Mustard Seeds

Take ½ tablespoon of mustard seeds and mix it in ½ tablespoon of pure ghee. Swallow the seeds as it will help to reduce hiccups.

4. Treat Hiccups with Water

Take a glass of water and drink water using a straw. While drinking, close your nose and earlobes.

Drink as much water you can. Lose the breath and stop drinking water. It is an easy and effective treatment for hiccups.

5. Cardamom for Hiccups

Take some green cardamoms and boil them in 2 cups of water. Boil until half of water left. Drink this hot water. It is a wonderful home remedy for hiccups.

6. Yogurt

Take a cup of plain yogurt and add 2 tablespoons of salt in it. Eat the yogurt two times a day. It is a helpful home remedy for hiccups.

7. Pineapple

 12. Honey and Castor Oil

Take 2 teaspoons of honey and 2 teaspoons of castor oil. Mix them both well. Take this mixture and dip your index finger into the mixture every 2-3 min and then lick your finger. It is an effective method to cure hiccups.

There is no specific diet suggested for the patient of hiccups. It is advisable to avoid hot and spicy food because they can irritate the lining of the esophagus.

The patient should not overeat. Smoking should also be avoided to avoid the condition of hiccups.
